Lot 36: A Pair of KOI Platform Wedge Sandals with Multi-Tonal Sequins
A pair of platform wedge sandals featuring a multi-strap crossover upper and an adjustable ankle strap with a metal buckle. The exterior surfaces of the straps, platform, and wedge are entirely covered in small circular sequins. The sequins are predominantly black with a multi-tonal iridescent finish. The interior lining is constructed from a dark synthetic material. The outsole is composed of a textured synthetic composite. The interior insole features partially visible gold-tone characters, though these are not legible as a complete name. The items are contained within a white cardboard box. The box lid features the printed letters KOI in large black block type. An adhesive label on the side of the box reads COLOUR CORAL SUEDE and SIZE 6.
Condition report:
The footwear shows signs of light use. The sequin embellishments are largely intact, although there is a visible area of sequin loss on the inner edge of the right shoe toe strap (photo 1). The insoles exhibit light wear and some surface debris. The outsoles show minimal evidence of outdoor use (photo 2). The cardboard box shows signs of handling, including creasing and scuffing, and the label does not correspond to the physical characteristics of the enclosed items.
