Lot 262: A Country Corner Cidre de Normandie Relief Wall Plaque

A large circular wall plaque featuring a three-dimensional relief scene advertising French cider. The central composition depicts a female figure in traditional provincial costume, including a bonnet and apron, pouring liquid from a wooden barrel into a ceramic pitcher. The barrel is supported by a trestle stand, set against a background of an apple orchard. The scene is framed by a wide border with the text CIDRE DE NORMANDIE in red lettering and two clusters of red apples. The plaque is constructed from a composite material with a painted finish and is mounted to a dark circular backing board fitted with a hanging cord. The reverse features a gold adhesive label printed with the text COUNTRY CORNER, PRODUIT IMPORTE, ALL REGISTRED DESIGNS, and MODELE DEPOSE. Some handwritten script is present on the label but is not legible.
