Lot 147: A 2020/21 Liverpool FC Official Membership Set and Monogrammed Hairbrush
This lot comprises a Liverpool FC official membership presentation set and a separate vintage hairbrush. The membership set is housed in a red cardboard box with a printed lid interior depicting fans with a large banner and the text WE ARE LIVERPOOL. THIS MEANS MORE. Included within the box is a charcoal grey textile scarf featuring a red embroidered Liver bird crest and the letters L.F.C. Also present is a shield-shaped enamel pin badge embossed with LFC OFFICIAL MEMBERSHIP 20 21 and L.F.C. The set is accompanied by a commemorative card for the 2019/20 season featuring the text PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 19|20 and images of the squad. The separate hairbrush is constructed from dark polished wood with a curved handle. The back of the brush features an inlaid white metal monogram in a cursive script forming the letter L. Three small hallmark punches are present on the white metal monogram, though the specific characters are not legible. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the hairbrush.
Condition report:
The membership presentation box shows light shelf wear to the corners and edges (photo 1). The grey scarf remains in its original folds and shows no visible signs of wear (photo 1). The enamel pin badge and commemorative card appear to be in good condition. The wooden hairbrush displays light surface scuffing and minor indentations to the wood consistent with handling (photo 2). All items are supplied as shown.
