The obverse, though not fully visible, bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is housed in its original navy blue card presentation folder, which features the printed text UNITED KINGDOM 50p in gold and white lettering. A small rectangular adhesive label is applied to the folder, bearing the repeating printed text UNITED KINGDOM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED CERTIFIED. The coin is struck in a silver-coloured cupro-nickel composition.

Condition report:

The coin appears in uncirculated condition with full original mint luster and no visible contact marks or circulation wear on the reverse. The navy blue card presentation folder shows light shelf wear, specifically small scuffs and white rubbing at the corners and edges (photo 1). The coin remains securely held within its original card and plastic protective housing.
