The instrument comprises a white painted metal optical tube assembly featuring a side-mounted rack-and-pinion focuser and a black cap. The set includes an equatorial mount head with black slow-motion control knobs, a finderscope with a mounting bracket, and two black painted metal tripod sections. The components are housed within a finger-jointed wooden transit case featuring black metal toggle latches and a swing handle, with internal white polystyrene foam packaging. A riveted rectangular metal plate on the exterior of the wooden case is stamped AMATEUR ASTRONOMER TELESCOPE N 0328 1998 MADE IN RUSSIA. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
