Lot 322: A Gardenline Petrol Brush Cutter with Straight Metal Shaft
A Gardenline petrol brush cutter, featuring a straight metal shaft and bicycle-style handlebars. The unit is constructed with a green plastic engine housing containing a two-stroke motor, with an attached translucent plastic fuel tank. The metal handlebars are fitted with black rubberised grips, the right of which incorporates a trigger throttle and an ignition switch. A black plastic safety guard is positioned above the cutting head at the base of the shaft. The engine housing is printed with GARDENLINE. A circular white adhesive label reads FOR SPARE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES PLEASE CONTACT EUK ON: UK: 0151 649 1500 IRE: 189 094 6244 OR VISIT: WWW.EINHELL.CO.UK. A black label adjacent to the primer bulb reads PRIMER with an arrow and X10. A silver rectangular label contains starting instructions beginning SET THE EQUIPMENT DOWN ON A HARD, LEVEL SURFACE. A sticker on the metal shaft reads 112 DB. Multiple yellow safety warning pictograms are present along the shaft. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The brush cutter shows signs of use and outdoor exposure. There is a visible accumulation of dried grass, dirt, and dust on the engine housing, air filter cover, safety guard, and cutting head (photo 1). The metal shaft exhibits surface scuffing and minor scratches (photo 1). The primer bulb and translucent fuel tank show surface discolouration consistent with age (photo 2). Instructional and safety labels show minor edge wear (photo 2). The mechanical functionality and engine compression have not been tested.
