Lot 80: Dinosaur World .999 Fine Copper 1 Troy Ounce Round

A Dinosaur World series bullion round, struck in .999 fine copper. The obverse features a high-relief prehistoric landscape depicting a volcano and pterosaurs in flight above a group of dinosaurs including a Tyrannosaurus rex, a Triceratops, and a Stegosaurus. It bears the central struck legend DINOSAUR WORLD and the lower peripheral inscription ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE COPPER. The reverse displays a colourised illustration of an Ouranosaurus standing in a marshy environment, with the legend OURANOSAURUS struck along the lower edge. No mint marks or signatures are visible on the round.
