Lot 47: UK Elizabeth II One Pound Coin in Presentation Card
A British one pound coin, presented in a blue retail display card within a clear plastic holder. The visible reverse side features a flax plant growing through a coronet, a design representing Northern Ireland, positioned above the legend ONE POUND. The obverse of the coin is not visible in this presentation. The blue card is printed with silver-toned graphics, including the word BRITAIN positioned between two Union Flags. Below each flag is a Royal Cypher reading E II R. The base of the card is printed with the text ONE POUND COIN. No metal fineness marks, maker’s signatures, or labels are visible on the coin or packaging.
Condition report:
The coin shows no visible signs of wear or environmental damage. The reverse side retains original mint luster and sharp detail to the design. The blue presentation card exhibits minor surface scuffing and light wear to the edges. The clear plastic holder displays fine surface scratches. The coin is housed in its original retail presentation card and plastic case.
