Buyer's Premium:

A Mexico 2014 Libertad 1 Onza silver coin, struck in .999 fine silver with a brilliant uncirculated finish. The obverse depicts the Winged Victory statue positioned between the volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl, accompanied by the struck legends 1 ONZA, PLATA PURA, 2014, LEY .999, and the MO mint mark. The reverse features the National Shield of Mexico, showing an eagle perched on a cactus devouring a snake, encircled by ten historical Mexican coats of arms and the legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. The coin is encapsulated in a professional NGC plastic grading slab. The interior white label is printed with 2014MO MEXICO 1 ONZA, SILVER, MS 69, and 6303278-020. A small white adhesive label with a handwritten 1 is present on the front of the slab. The reverse of the slab displays a multicoloured holographic security seal reading NGC, NUMISMATIC GUARANTY CORPORATION, THE OFFICIAL GRADING SERVICE OF THE PNG.


Condition report:

The coin exhibits high-grade surfaces with full original lustre. The obverse shows a light golden-hued toning beginning to develop along the upper rim (photo 1). The reverse surfaces appear clean with no visible contact marks or environmental spots (photo 2). The coin remains protected within its original NGC grading slab.
