A 2021 UK commemorative five pound coin, issued by The Royal Mint and housed in its original illustrated presentation folder. The commemorative side features a profile portrait of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, facing left. Struck inscriptions on the coin read HRH THE PRINCE PHILIP to the left of the portrait, and DUKE OF EDINBURGH 1921 2021 to the right. The presentation card is printed with THE ROYAL MINT, THE ORIGINAL MAKER and the Royal Mint crest, alongside text reading HRH THE PRINCE PHILIP, DUKE OF EDINBURGH and 2021 UK £5 BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED COIN. The packaging features a photographic portrait of Prince Philip and the item is contained within its original clear plastic outer sleeve. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition, displaying high luster with no visible surface marks, contact scratches, or environmental toning to the commemorative side. The reverse of the coin is not visible as the item remains in its original packaging. The presentation folder and outer plastic sleeve are in excellent condition with no visible faults. The coin is supplied in its original mint-sealed state.
