Lot 138: UK 2016 Queen Elizabeth II £5 Coin
A UK 2016 commemorative £5 coin, of circular form, issued to celebrate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is presented in an illustrative card folder. The reverse features a central crowned monogram reading E II R above the numerals 90, surrounded by a wreath of nine roses. The obverse is not visible within the sealed packaging. The card folder is printed with the legends THE ROYAL MINT, THE 90TH BIRTHDAY OF HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN, and 2016 UK £5 BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED COIN. The trademarked phrase TREASURE FOR LIFE is printed on the lower right corner. The cover features a photographic portrait of the Queen. No metal fineness marks are struck on the coin or printed on the packaging.
Condition report:
The coin shows no visible signs of environmental exposure or handling and remains in brilliant uncirculated condition. The illustrative card folder exhibits minor shelf wear, including a small nick to the card at the top central notch. The coin is contained within its original protective card packaging.
