Lot 129: A Commemorative Metal Round, The Fall of Lucifer

A commemorative metal round, of circular form. The obverse depicts a falling winged figure surrounded by celestial rays in high relief. The upper edge is inscribed THE FALL OF LUCIFER and the lower edge is inscribed PRIDE BEFORE THE FALL. The round is housed within a clear acrylic capsule and mounted on a rectangular colour-illustrated backing card. The card features a graphic illustration of a falling angel amidst flames and is titled THE FALL OF LUCIFER in shadowed lettering. The entire assembly is contained within a transparent plastic outer sleeve. The reverse of the round is not visible. Small characters are struck into the right-hand field of the obverse but are not legible. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
