A 1994 Barbados commemorative silver one dollar coin, struck to a proof finish. The obverse features a frosted central portrait bust of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, with the struck year 1994 positioned directly below the figure. Encircling the portrait are the legends QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER, BORN ELIZABETH BOWES-LYON 4TH AUGUST 1900, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR at the base, separated by two small stars. The coin is housed within a clear protective plastic capsule and is accompanied by a rectangular paper certificate of authenticity. The certificate is printed with the text 1994 BARBADOS, QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER, LADY OF THE CENTURY, SILVER ONE-DOLLAR, and CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. The coin appears to be in uncirculated proof condition, featuring mirrored fields and frosted devices. No visible surface marks, contact scratches, milk spots, or toning are evident on the obverse. The reverse is obscured by the certificate. Supplied in a clear plastic capsule with the original paper certificate of authenticity.
