This lot comprises an assortment of ceramic tablewares and a red glass bowl. Included are multiple teacups and saucers featuring pink floral transfer patterns and gilt rims, alongside a matching bowl. A tall slender pot with a domed lid is decorated with a multi-coloured stylised floral motif. Four pitchers of varying sizes are included, featuring yellow floral and green foliate borders. A large red glass bowl contains a teacup decorated with a floral pattern and a pink interior. Also present is a vessel with a green to ivory ombre finish and a transfer-printed landscape scene, and a ceramic jar with a metal lid and swing handle. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The items show signs of handling and storage. Significant gilt loss is visible to the rim of the green ombre vessel (photo 1). Minor surface abrasions and potential for small rim chips are present due to the items being stored loose and stacked within the plastic container (photo 1). No original packaging or individual protective wrapping is present.
