A contemporary SI Bullion investment bar struck in .999 fine copper. The obverse face is decorated with a central shield containing the letters SI, flanked by laurel wreaths and positioned above a banner inscribed BULLION. The centre of the bar is struck with the weight 5 OZ, and the base is inscribed 999 FINE COPPER. The bar is of uniform rectangular form with a vertically brushed texture to the field. No marks are visible on the reverse through the packaging.
Weight: 155.52g (5 oz t).
Condition report:
The bar is in brilliant uncirculated condition, showing no signs of environmental exposure or handling. The obverse and reverse display a uniform reddish-orange lustre with no visible toning or oxidation (photo 1). The item is supplied sealed in its original clear plastic film, which shows minor bunching at the top edge.
