A 2013 commemorative bar of rectangular form, featuring relief and enamelled decoration. The obverse displays a raised relief portrait of Margaret Thatcher, transcribed with the legends THE IRON LADY above and MARGARET THATCHER 13.10.1925 8.4.2013 below. The reverse is decorated with a colour-enamelled Union Jack flag design featuring a central crown. The item is housed in a clear plastic protective capsule. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The bar shows signs of handling and surface wear. On the obverse, a prominent diagonal scratch is visible across the lower left cheek of the portrait (photo 1). The reverse enamelling appears intact (photo 2). The protective plastic capsule exhibits minor exterior scuffing and handling marks (photos 1 and 2).
