Lot 85: A White Glazed Reticulated Footed Bowl with Square Base
A footed bowl, featuring a circular body with an intricate reticulated openwork design. The bowl is decorated with a regular pattern of scrolling and teardrop-shaped piercings situated beneath a scalloped rim with alternating oval apertures. The vessel is supported by a central fluted pedestal stem which terminates in a solid square plinth base. The entire object is finished in a consistent white glaze. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The bowl shows signs of light use and handling. There is a small accumulation of surface dirt within some of the recessed pierced sections (photo 2). There are no visible chips, cracks, or restorations to the scalloped rim, stem, or square base (photos 1 and 4).
