A turned wood gavel and matching sounding block, featuring a smooth, polished dark brown finish. The gavel is designed with a traditional mallet-style head, characterised by multiple decorative concentric rings turned into both the striking faces and the central body. The companion sounding block is circular in form with a slightly raised, stepped edge and a flat, polished striking surface.
