Lot 373: Stagecoach Silver .999 Fine Silver One Ounce Divisible Bullion Bar
A Stagecoach Silver .999 fine silver one ounce divisible bullion bar, of rectangular form with rounded corners and a raised border. The obverse features a relief decoration depicting a four-horse team pulling a stagecoach with two drivers and a cargo of luggage. The top of the obverse is struck with the legend STAGECOACH SILVER and the bottom edge bears the motto FOR WHEN YOU HAVE TO GET OUT OF DODGE. The reverse is divided into four quadrants by deep horizontal and vertical scoring, designed to facilitate separation into four individual fractional units. Each quadrant is struck with the legend 1/4 OUNCE and .999 SILVER. There are no additional maker’s marks, signatures, assay stamps, or serial numbers visible on the item.

Condition report:
The bar shows signs of environmental exposure and handling. The obverse displays significant surface toning and oxidation within the recessed fields and fine surface scratches to the raised relief (photo 2). The reverse exhibits similar dark toning across all four quadrants and minor contact marks (photo 1). The edges show minor wear but remain largely intact. No protective capsule or original packaging is supplied.
