Lot 335: USA Colt 45 Single Action Army Copper 1 oz AVDP Round

A contemporary American copper round, of circular form with a reeded edge. The obverse features a central relief depiction of a Single Action Army revolver. Above the firearm is the inscription COLT 45, and along the lower circumference is SINGLE ACTION ARMY. To the right of the revolver is the text PRODUCTION 1873-∞. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with a striped shield on its breast, grasping three arrows and an olive branch. The reverse inscriptions are transcribed as COPPER .999 FINE, USA, and ONE A.V.D.P OUNCE. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
