Lot 330: A Tall Vase with Rope and Tassel Decoration

A tall decorative vase of slender, tapered form, featuring a flared rim and base. The vessel is constructed with a rounded shoulder and a narrow neck. The exterior surface is finished with a textured, brushed effect in horizontal bands of red and white. A raised relief band, decorated with repeating scrolled and foliate motifs, encircles the centre of the body, creating a visual transition between the upper red section and the central white portion. The rim, base, and raised band feature a gold-tone finish. The neck is encircled by a rope tie, from which hang two miniature amphora-style pendants and a large tassel. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
