A traditional style kettle, featuring a bulbous body with a central horizontal seam and a separate base plate. The vessel is fitted with a swan-neck spout and an overhead handle consisting of a cylindrical grip supported by two curved brackets. The circular domed lid is surmounted by an acorn-shaped finial. The exterior displays a high-polish finish across all surfaces. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The kettle shows signs of age and wear. Several shallow impact dents are visible on the shoulder and around the lower body in the photograph. Traces of green oxidation are present at the points where the handle supports are joined to the body.
