A decorative glass vessel in the form of an oversized brandy balloon. The bowl is constructed from deep cobalt blue glass featuring vertical optic ribbing and an everted rim. The bowl is supported by a clear glass stem with a decorative barley-twist design, which terminates in a matching circular cobalt blue foot. The piece demonstrates hand-blown glassmaking techniques. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The glass vessel is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the rim, bowl, stem, or foot. The colour is consistent throughout and the glass remains clear. Minor surface dust is present.
