This lot comprises a pitcher and ten matching stemmed glasses. The pitcher is designed with a bulbous body, a flared pouring lip, and a substantial C-scroll handle. Each piece in the suite is decorated at the rim with a broad decorative band featuring a detailed, acid-etched scrolling pattern. The glasses consist of a tapered bowl supported by a short stem on a circular foot. The suite is uniform in design. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the pitcher or any of the glasses.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of light handling. The decorative bands at the rims are well-preserved with no significant loss or thinning visible (photo 1). The pitcher and glasses show no chips, cracks, or surface abrasions (photo 2). Light surface smudging is present. The items are supplied without original packaging.
