This lot comprises two matching candlesticks, each featuring a square, three-tiered base. The lowermost tier is ornamented with a moulded starburst pattern on each face. The central support is of square section, decorated with repeating pressed motifs of stylised four-pointed stars. The top candle cup is square with a wide, flat rim and a circular central aperture. The items are formed from a transparent amber-toned material with occasional trapped air bubbles visible throughout the body. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
One candlestick shows a significant structural crack running across the top square rim and extending into the side of the candle cup (photo 2). Both items show minor surface wear and occasional small air bubbles inherent to the manufacture. No original packaging is present.
