A promotional automobilia item in the form of a miniature vehicle tyre, featuring a thick-walled moulded rubber body with a diamond-patterned tread and ribbed shoulders. The central aperture contains a removable clear glass ashtray insert with three moulded cigarette rests along the rim. The upper sidewall of the rubber tyre is embossed with the text GOODYEAR and the lower sidewall features the embossed lettering ALL WEATHER. Smaller technical markings are present on the shoulder but are not legible as specific words or numbers. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The rubber tyre displays signs of surface blooming and oxidation, appearing as a whitish residue across the sidewalls in the photograph. There is an accumulation of dust within the tread pattern and embossed lettering. The glass insert appears to be in good order without visible chips or cracks.
