The reverse face features a proof-like finish and depicts four generations of the British Royal Family including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George, accompanied by three stylised maple leaves. This face is struck with the legends CANADA 2014 and 20 DOLLARS. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule within a red leatherette presentation case. The lid of the case is printed with a gold-toned logo reading ROYAL CANADIAN MINT MONNAIE ROYALE CANADIENNE surrounding a circular maple leaf motif composed of dots. An included certificate of authenticity is printed with the text PIECE DE 20 $ EN ARGENT FIN 2014 GENERATIONS ROYALES, 2014 $20 FINE SILVER COIN ROYAL GENERATIONS, and a circular logo MONNAIE ROYALE CANADIENNE ROYAL CANADIAN MINT. An outer cardboard sleeve is present, printed with the years 1926 2016 on a blue band and the address 320 SUSSEX DRIVE 320, PROMENADE SUSSEX OTTAWA ON K1A 0G8 MINT.CA | MONNAIE.CA on the reverse.
Condition report:
The reverse of the coin exhibits visible brownish environmental toning and spotting on the mirrored fields to the left of the figures (photo 1). The coin is housed in a protective plastic capsule. A presentation case and certificate of authenticity are present. The outer cardboard sleeve is a mismatch for this specific issue, being dated 1926-2016 (photo 3).
