Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
A fine silver bullion bar of rectangular form produced by Valcambi Suisse. The bar features a distinctive matte black textured ground which provides a high contrast to the raised, polished lettering. The obverse is struck with the refiner name VALCAMBI above SUISSE in a contemporary typeface. Below this, the weight is indicated as 1 G, followed by the material designation FINE SILVER and the fineness 999,0. A small assay mark is positioned at the base within a rectangular border, comprising a circular logo containing the letters CHI beside the two-line inscription ESSAYEUR FONDEUR. The bar is finished with a thin polished silver border. No serial number is struck on this face.

Condition report:
The bar shows signs of handling and light surface wear. Minor scuffs and small contact marks are visible on the raised polished surfaces of the lettering and the outer rim (photo 1). No original packaging or assay card is present.
