A contemporary fractional gold bar, of rectangular form featuring a combination of frosted and polished finishes. The upper portion of the bar displays a frosted depiction of Britannia, shown wearing a Corinthian helmet and holding a trident alongside a shield bearing the Union Jack. The lower half of the bar is polished and carries the struck inscriptions. The left margin features the word BRITANNIA oriented vertically. Below the pictorial field is a circular logo containing a monogram of two stylised M characters, followed by the text WESSEX TM MINT. The weight is struck as 1/200TH OZ above the final line, which states 999.9 FINE GOLD. The bar is of solid 999.9 fine gold construction. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The bar is in excellent condition. The obverse displays sharp contrast between the frosted Britannia motif and the mirrored field, with no visible surface scratches, toning, fingerprints, or edge wear. No protective capsule or packaging is present.
