Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
A 1995 UK Two-Pound coin, struck in silver proof and issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The reverse features a stylised design by John Mills depicting a dove carrying an olive branch. Struck inscriptions on the reverse are partially visible but are not fully legible. The coin is housed in its original clear plastic protective capsule and set within a green presentation case with a cream-coloured interior. Accompanying the coin is a printed card Certificate of Authenticity reading 1995 UNITED KINGDOM SECOND WORLD WAR SILVER PROOF TWO-POUND COIN and CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item or its packaging.
Condition report:
The coin reverse shows no visible signs of environmental exposure, toning, or contact marks, retaining its original brilliant proof finish. The obverse is not visible within the capsule. The coin is supplied in its original plastic capsule and original green presentation case with the Certificate of Authenticity.
