A 2008 Mexican Libertad bullion coin, struck in .999 fine silver. The obverse features a winged victory figure in the foreground, positioned before the volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl. Legible legends are struck as 1 ONZA, PLATA PURA, 2008, and LEY .999. The Mexican Mint mark, comprising a capital M with a small O positioned above, is struck in the right field. The reverse features the Mexican coat of arms at the centre, surrounded by ten historical versions of the seal. The central legend is struck as ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. The coin features a reeded edge.

Condition report:
The coin shows signs of environmental exposure and handling. The obverse displays numerous fine scratches and contact marks across the fields and raised surfaces, with small dark spots and pitting visible (photo 1). The reverse features golden-brown toning around the rim and contact marks on the raised elements of the seals (photo 3). No protective capsule or original packaging is provided.
