This lot comprises two boxed die-cast model vehicles manufactured by Corgi, issued as tie-ins for the James Bond film GoldenEye. The first vehicle is a Corgi Classics James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5, finished in silver paint. It is presented in its original black window box which features a photographic image of Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. The second vehicle is a Corgi GoldenEye The Director’s Cut BMW Z3 roadster convertible, finished in teal blue with a tan interior. The interior contains two moulded and painted figures depicting James Bond in a light suit and a female passenger in a red dress. This model is mounted on a gold-tone reflective interior card and the packaging indicates the inclusion of working gadgets. Both models are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and are housed in their original retail window boxes.
Condition report:
Both models appear to be in mint, unused condition and remain secured within their original packaging. The outer boxes show minor shelf wear and light scuffing to the plastic windows. The cardboard components of the boxes display light wear at the corners and edges consistent with storage.
