Lot 69: A Collection of McDonald's Corporate Memorabilia Including a Two-Tone Quartz Wristwatch and Employee Award Pins
A group of vintage McDonald’s corporate memorabilia and promotional items. The collection features a rectangular two-tone dress watch with a black dial. The dial is set with gold-tone baton hour markers and sword-style hands, featuring the McDonald’s Golden Arches logo at the 12 o’clock position and the word QUARTZ printed above the 6 o’clock position. The watch is housed in a base metal case with gold-tone and silver-tone plating, fitted to an integrated two-tone three-row link bracelet. The lot also includes an oval enamel-style lapel pin for a Crewmember of the Quarter dated 1996, a shaped enamel-style pin featuring the profile of Ronald McDonald, and a pair of Big Smile pins produced for the Foundation for Nephrology, which remain mounted on their original backing card.

The wristwatch exhibits significant signs of wear, including heavy pitting and loss of plating to the case and bracelet links. The crystal has several visible surface scratches. The movement is untested and currently not in working order; it likely requires a new battery. The Crewmember of the Quarter pin is in good condition within a plastic sleeve. The Ronald McDonald profile pin shows minor surface scuffing. The Big Smile pins show light wear, and their associated backing card is toned with minor creasing.
