A contemporary fractional silver bar of rectangular form. The obverse features a struck depiction of the Archangel Michael with wings and a halo, holding a sword and a shield with a Latin cross. The legend ARCHANGEL MICHAEL is struck vertically to the left. Centrally, a circular maker’s mark contains the characters PM above a triskele symbol, flanked by the name WESSEX MINT. The base of the bar is struck with the weight and fineness 1 GRAM and 999 FINE SILVER. No marks are visible on the reverse.

Condition report:
The bar shows signs of environmental exposure and handling. The obverse displays significant dark toning and patination throughout. Multiple fine surface scratches and small contact marks are visible across the fields. There is minor wear to the edges and corners. The bar is not housed in a protective capsule or case.
