A pair of fractional bullion bars struck in .999 fine silver, produced by the Wessex Mint. Each bar is housed in an individual sealed pocket within a branded black card blister pack. The obverse of each rectangular bar features a standing figure of Britannia with a trident and shield, accompanied by the vertical inscription BRITANNIA. The bars are further inscribed horizontally with the text Wessex Mint, 1 GRAM, and 999 FINE SILVER, alongside a circular logo containing the characters P and M. The packaging card features a large grey triskelion motif and is printed in white with Wessex Mint and 2 x 1g 999 SOLID SILVER.
Total silver weight: 2g (0.064 oz t).
Condition report:
Both silver bars exhibit significant iridescent blue and gold toning across their surfaces (photo 1). The black card packaging shows minor shelf wear, including light scuffing and slight fraying at the outer corners, though the clear plastic blister pockets remain sealed and undamaged (photo 1).
