A UK 50 pence silver bullion coin struck in 1/4 ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features an uncrowned left-facing portrait of King Charles III set against a textured stippled background. The obverse inscription reads CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 50 PENCE ·. The reverse displays a standing figure of Britannia holding a trident and a shield bearing the Union Flag, set against a background of animated surface waves. A latent security image is positioned at the lower left of the figure. The reverse inscription reads BRITANNIA · 2024 · 1/4 OZ · 999 · FINE · SILVER ·. The name NATHAN is printed in small capital letters on the ground line at the lower left of the reverse. The coin has a reeded edge.
Condition report:
The coin exhibits a bright uncirculated luster. Several surface marks and contact nicks are visible on the portrait of King Charles III (photo 1). Peripheral toning and milk spotting are evident around the rims on both the obverse (photo 1) and reverse (photo 2).
