A Kodak Brownie 127 (Model 1) roll film camera, dating from the mid-20th century. The unit is constructed with a black moulded Bakelite body featuring a vertically ribbed texture and an integrated optical viewfinder housing. It is designed for use with 127 roll film, producing eight 4 x 6.5 cm exposures per roll. The camera is fitted with a fixed-focus meniscus lens and a single-speed instantaneous shutter. The front is decorated with a rectangular aluminium faceplate. A white plastic shutter release button is located on the top left, with a white winding knob on the top right. The camera is accompanied by its brown leatherette-over-cardboard carrying case, which features a red velvet-style lining, a zip closure, and a matching shoulder strap. The faceplate is marked K O D A K in red block letters, Brownie 127 in red script, and C A M E R A in small black block capitals.

Condition report:
The Bakelite body remains structurally sound with light surface scuffing and accumulated dust. The aluminium faceplate shows significant age-related deterioration, including heavy pitting and oxidation across the surface. The lens exhibits surface dust and grime; internal optics have not been inspected for haze or fungus. The shutter and winding mechanisms are untested. The carrying case shows external scuffing and wear to the edges; the shoulder strap is intact but shows noticeable fraying and age-related wear.
