A six-piece collection of Wedgwood pale blue jasperware, featuring unglazed stoneware bodies with applied white relief sprigged decoration in the neoclassical style. The lot includes a 1981 commemorative Christmas plate featuring a central relief of Marble Arch, London, with an impressed inscription and a holly leaf border. Also included is a cylindrical vessel decorated with lion-head masks and hanging floral swags above classical figure groups; a flared vase with neoclassical scenes and a foliate border to the neck; a square dish with a central standing female figure and a floral border; a small circular dish with a central neoclassical group; and an octagonal lidded trinket box with a central figure to the lid. The bases feature impressed factory marks including WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or evidence of professional restoration. There are minor blue surface smudges visible on the white relief borders of the small circular dish and the square dish. All pieces show light surface dust consistent with display.
