A set of three Aynsley porcelain items in the Orchard Gold pattern, comprising a pair of footed dessert bowls and a circular lidded trinket box. Each piece features a yellow-cream ground decorated with fruit studies including peaches, grapes, and blackberries against a shaded background. The decoration on both bowls and the lid of the trinket box is hand-signed D. Jones in cursive script. The bowls are finished with gilded pedestal bases and gilt rims.
Footed Bowls: 17.8 cm diameter, 7.6 cm height
Lidded Trinket Box: 7.6 cm diameter.
Condition report:
Good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface scratching present to the well of the bowls and a few small pin-point inclusions in the glaze. Very minor wear to the gilded rims consistent with age.
