This 2015 United Kingdom cupronickel five-pound commemorative coin was issued to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. The obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the initials IRB below the neck. The obverse legend is transcribed as ELIZABETH II D G REG F D FIVE POUNDS 2015. The reverse, designed by David Lawrence, features the Battle of Waterloo reverse design. The coin is encapsulated within a protective DateStamp holder alongside a red British 1st class postage stamp. The stamp features a Tower Hill, London EC3 postmark dated 18 June 2015, marking the exact bicentenary of the engagement. A reverse label identifies the item as 2015 UK Waterloo £5, including the serial number A66-0450.
