A legal tender 50-cent gold coin issued by Niue, struck in 1/1000 troy ounce of .9999 fine gold. The obverse depicts a seated panda eating bamboo with the inscription PANDA along the upper rim. The reverse features the Niue Coat of Arms and includes the date 2028, AU 999.9, 1/1000 OZ, 50 CENTS, and NIUE. The coin is presented in a decorative themed blister card that includes a printed Certificate of Authenticity on the reverse. This certificate lists a limited mintage of 9,999 pieces and bears the hand-written serial number 3020. A discrepancy is noted between the date minted on the coin (2028) and the year specified on the certificate text (2026).
