Centrally, the bar bears a circular maker’s mark consisting of a dotted border containing stylized runic characters above a small triskelion, accompanied by the text Wessex Mint. The lower portion of the bar identifies its weight as 1 GRAM above the purity statement 999 FINE SILVER. No serial number or assay marks are visible on the obverse face.
