The piece is struck in 2.5 grams of .999 fine silver by the refiner Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung, as indicated by the LFV diamond logo on the reverse. The obverse features a raised relief depiction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris against a black enameled field, accompanied by a globe motif and the date 2015. The reverse displays the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, with his initials IRB below the truncation. The reverse text reads SOLOMON ISLANDS, HALF DOLLAR, and 2,5 g FINE SILVER 999.
