A 1999 United Kingdom five-pound (£5) commemorative coin struck by the Royal Mint as a memorial to Diana, Princess of Wales. The coin is composed of cupro-nickel with a brilliant uncirculated finish. The reverse features the memorial portrait of Diana by David Cornell, while the obverse features the fourth definitive UK coin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The coin is housed in its original purple Royal Mint presentation folder, which contains a photographic illustration, a commemorative quote by the 9th Earl Spencer, and an anonymous poem.
Condition report:
Brilliant uncirculated. The coin displays full original mint lustre with no visible signs of wear or circulation. The presentation folder remains in good condition with minor shelf wear to the edges and corners.
