This 2017 silver bullion coin is part of the African Wildlife series issued for the Somali Republic. The obverse features an African elephant in a savanna landscape with its trunk raised, positioned beside a palm tree, a thatched hut, and a moon. It is inscribed with the text AFRICAN WILDLIFE and ELEPHANT, alongside the specifications 1/4 OZ Ag 999.9. The reverse depicts the Somali Republic coat of arms, consisting of two leopards supporting a crowned shield with a single central star. The upper border is inscribed SOMALI REPUBLIC, with the date 2017 flanking the central image and the denomination 25 SHILLINGS at the base.

Condition report:
The coin displays significant dark toning and patina across both the obverse and reverse surfaces. Numerous fine surface scratches and contact marks are visible, consistent with handling.
