A UK numismatic presentation pack titled Her Majesty The Queen’s Coronation Jubilee, issued in 2013 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Elizabeth II. The set comprises a commemorative £5 crown and a collection of pre-decimal circulation coins. The primary commemorative £5 coin features a gold-coloured finish with a reverse design depicting a central heart-shaped shield containing the Royal Cypher ER between the dates 1953 and 2013, surrounded by stylized floral emblems of the UK (rose, thistle, shamrock, and leek) and the legend CORONATION. The interior panel houses a group of pre-decimal coins including a cupro-nickel Half Crown (1956), Two Shillings (1954), One Shilling (1955), and Sixpence (1957); a brass twelve-sided Threepence (1961); and a bronze Penny, Halfpenny, and Farthing. The coins are presented in a dark blue card folder with gold-toned lettering and an illustration of the coronation crown on the front cover.
Condition report:
The commemorative £5 coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition with full original luster and no visible wear. The pre-decimal coins are in varied circulated condition, generally ranging from Fine to Very Fine; the bronze Penny and Halfpenny exhibit significant surface wear and dark toning. The card presentation folder shows minor shelf wear, including light rubbing to the corners and edges.
