A Royal Mint 1995 United Kingdom One Pound (£1) Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) coin issued for Wales. The coin is struck in gold-toned nickel-brass and features the Welsh Dragon reverse design by Norman Sillman. The obverse bears the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. This specimen is housed in its original Royal Mint illustrated presentation folder, which contains historical information regarding the Welsh dragon. The coin is held securely in a plastic blister within the card folder.
Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition, displaying full mint luster with no evidence of circulation, toning, or handling marks. The original presentation folder is in good condition, showing only minor edge wear and light surface marks consistent with age and storage.
