The reverse features the standing figure of Britannia with a trident and shield, a design by Philip Nathan, and includes a latent security image and micro-text within the design border. The obverse displays the first definitive coinage portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. The coin is struck in .999 fine silver with a nominal face value of 20 pence. Inscriptions on the reverse include BRITANNIA 2023 1/10 oz 999 FINE SILVER and NATHAN at the base. The obverse is inscribed CHARLES III D G REX F D 20 PENCE with the initials MJ visible at the truncation of the neck.

Condition report:
The coin exhibits heavy surface toning and dark mottled tarnish across both the obverse and reverse. The oxidation is most prominent within the textured fields and along the rim. No significant scratches or edge damage are visible through the tarnish.
