Waltham Premier 16s military pocket watch. This mid-20th-century timepiece features a manual wind 17-jewel lever movement, movement serial number 30814443. The movement is engraved with markings including Waltham Premier 16s, 17 Jewels, 3 Pos., Adj. Temp., and U. S. A. The white metal case features a coined edge to the bezel and case back. The black dial has luminous Arabic numerals and cathedral-style hands, with a subsidiary seconds dial positioned at 6 o’clock. The reverse of the case is engraved with a broad arrow or pheon mark, signifying British military issue.

Condition report:
The case displays surface scratching and wear to the plating consistent with military use. The crystal has multiple surface scratches. The dial remains in good condition, although the luminous material on the numerals and hands shows significant ageing and discolouration. The movement appears clean but is not currently running and will require servicing.
