A UK sterling silver crown dated 1890. The obverse features the Jubilee Head portrait of Queen Victoria. The reverse displays the St George and the Dragon design by Benedetto Pistrucci, with the date 1890 in the exergue. Struck at the Royal Mint in London, the coin is composed of .925 fineness silver and features a milled edge.
Condition report:
Circulated condition. The coin shows moderate wear to the high points of the Queen’s portrait and the reverse design elements. Numerous small contact marks and scratches are present in the fields on both sides. The surfaces exhibit uneven greyish-brown toning with a darker patina in the recessed areas.
